Regarding the suspension of my PIXIV account.

Post by soundman »

Unfortunately, after releasing the link for my paid work, my account was mercilessly permanently closed without any possibility of appeal. I want to say that I did this after seeing other people's actions, but it is obvious that the website did not accept my explanation. This account, which I have been using for ten years, has permanently left me. So far, only I can see the uploaded works, and I am unable to contact my friends and clients who I follow. This makes me very frustrated. Although most of the works are still on my computer, the sentences that were exchanged will never come back. I need to calm down.

This is my online shop https://www.fansky.co/Soundamn, which has my latest works and some old works uploaded by new friends. Unfortunately, it is a paid project, and I try my best to sell them at the lowest price. I won't open sponsorship projects for now because I need to think about how to view my creative direction in the future.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with pixiv, soundman I truly am.

As a fan of yours for over 20 years, I was saddened to see the loss of your account and saddened further to hear that pixiv was beyond all reason and didn't even allow you to appeal.

I wish all the best for the future Soundman, good luck with whatever you decide to do going forward.

Do I need to upload my work again? For things originally intended for communication

I will leave that up to you, soundman. They are your works after all and the decision should rightly be yours.

A friend of mine who runs the USB discord server has managed to preserve most of your recent and old works on there.

Thank you so much, guys~I think I will continue to create, and because this is a trading website, we can create something that avoids censorship (although I am not familiar with some of the more intense things in my Asian country, please understand the cultural differences). Maybe we can be more creative. If you have any good ideas, I will try to restore them. Of course, I may use AI generation to supplement details for some images (I know many people are uneasy about using AI technology, but why not make the visual expression stronger? ). I hope you can understand what I write with translation software.

Dear Soudman, I am truly sorry that Pixiv deleted your account. I find it really unfair. You are one of the pioneers who helped shape this forum. I have always loved your stories, and what's more, you are currently the only forum member to have created game prototypes based on the forum's theme—and that is no small feat.

Soundman, old time friend, after rethinking the whole thing I suspect the reason for the termination of your Pixiv account wasn't related to the link to your paid stuff

I believe you experienced the very same issue that occurred to MY second Pixiv account

I have multiple accounts at Pixiv ( and by the way multiple accounts at Deviantart )

what caused the termination of one of the Pixiv accounts of mine ... Pixiv warned me with many Emails and in matter of days ( or hours) they deleted the account, merciless and immediately... but neither for financial issues nor for censorship of explicit content

the reason for the termination of my Pixiv account was the use of photographic AI

quoting the AI google answer

Pixiv has specific rules regarding photorealistic and AI-generated imagery. AI artwork is permitted, but the platform imposes strict bans on photorealistic AI content,

this is what happened to me months ago, and Pixiv was very clear in the Emails they sent me

As always you've got the wrong end of the stick, ES. And didn't understand what soundman was telling us.

The reason why pixiv terminated his page was simple; he advertised a link to his old and new works to a third party paywall site. For some inexplicable reason this breached pixiv's rules and his page was terminated just like that. It's all quite clear in Sound Man's explanation.

You should know how stringent China is when it comes to censorship and advertising, particularly if the site being advertised is western in origin.
