I think I liked the edit with the extra dialogue a bit better mainly because I like that they were still unconscious when she left them.

yes I agree that this element is crucial. The silent, defeated but peaceful look of the two girls at the conclusion is the correct ending, with Dr. Goodhead's friendly stroke of Catherine's hair and her 'sweet dreams, ladies,' an appropriate coda.

I just checked out your updated version of the video. Love the added scene where Holly knocks out the third woman after searching the storeroom.

I know the first two were based on actresses from the movie. Was the third woman someone from the movie?

glad you enjoyed this additional scene. No, this rather attractive young woman wasnt in the film and is I'm afraid entirely fictional. She's called Cathy.

This scene involved the AI doing its own weird and kinda intriguing stuff. I envisaged Holly knocking out the unsuspecting Cathy just because she didnt want to leave a witness roaming free when she needed a few minutes to escape (and maybe Cathy would meet some other colleagues, ask about the new girl who went to the storeroom, become suspicious etc etc).

But if you watch the scene carefully, i think the AI creates a more subtle dynamic. Namely that Cathy's politeness and friendliness becomes slightly strained and nervous at the end of the interaction, making it seem like she'd become suspicious because of something Holly said and was humoring her before leaving to summon assistance. This sealed her fate.

This i think improves the scene from how i had origjnally planned it. which is in one way nice, but also weird.
