Prism Breaker: TV Series, Hong Kong (2025)
Two wrongly convicted females try to get revenge on a rich megalomaniac by disguising as cocktail waitresses and then nurses. Finally they kill him
No scene or mention of how they got the uniform.
For fans of the 'defeated army' sub-genre, a uniformed female customs officer is kidnapped early on in the series. It turns out she is pregnant and her policeman husband spends several episodes trying to find her.
He is also kidnapped and wakes up on an oil rig owned by the antagonist. It's part of a squid game scenario where the prisoners have to kill one another to survive. After he kills one, he is shown his wife. She has been stripped out of her customs uniform off screen and is wearing a long white night gown and matching strap across deck shoes like all the other female prisoners. At this point it gets too strong for me as she is whipped (prime time TV in HK!). For this scene she is stripped off screen again and is left wearing a prisoner style white vest and white knickers. She has been held for possibly weeks or months.
The torture, although not graphic is too strong for me, but the concept is very well developed and being changed from her customs uniform into a prisoner outfit is well done with attention to detail. The concept would have benefited from female guards and also background flashbacks to immediately after her capture and those of all the other female prisoners.
Worth a watch, but ultimately fails to provide a genuine uniform steal.

The new movie They Will Kill You hints at a replacement/USB scene, but unfortunately it's never confirmed what happens. (Slight spoilers below.)
The movie centers on a young woman named Asia (played by Zazie Beetz) who impersonates a maid so she can infiltrate a hotel. At one point, we get a flashback showing her approaching the home apartment of the real maid. When the woman opens the door, Asia smiles.
Unfortunately, the movie never confirms what happens to the real maid after that. Asia probably tied her up, but it's never made clear. Which is too bad, considering that Zazie Beetz already has one memorable mainstream USB scene in Bullet Train, and this would be a good one to add to her score.

Further spoiler alert for the film "They Will Kill You" follows below too.
So another missed opportunity I thought, was when Lilith called upon all the residents to hunt down Asia. Now in one part we see all the maids donning their masks and weapons, getting ready for the hunt. Now I genuinely thought that Asia was going to swap clothes with her sister, as she's one of the maids there. So I thought she was going to wear her sister's maid's uniform and don a mask to slip through their ranks for a bit.
But sadly it didn't happen here either.
P.S. There's two films fighting for dominance recently featuring a woman being attacked by a satanic cult. This film and of course "Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come". Now we've watched both of them and I won't lie. Even though we really enjoyed "they will kill you" and thought it was great. We thought that "ready or not 2" was better, as we just enjoyed it more. But that's our opinion.

Yeah, I also thought the uniformed maids with their masks were prime USB targets. What a shame...
And yes, I also slightly preferred Ready or Not 2 over They Will Kill You, although both movies had their charms.
