Its something different from my end, never tried one before. Glad you find it a little entertaining. There will be a delay soon, I disappear for a month again, travel

Ancient shaman shapeshifter, something from the worlds past, maybe Persia or the time of Rome, or before Babylonian.....mystic and something pagan
I tried an Alien just once, it sucks the life out of AI in producing......but I will experiment

They are both driving down a dark, rainswept highway
They pass in the glow of the headlights signage that declares 'No Stopping for Hitch Hikers'
Little does Doctor Shelby know that the danger is already within her warm and cozy car
The windshield wipers hissed as they flipped back and fore

The bogus Nurse lightens the mood, wishing her potential victim to be at ease
The shapeshifter indulged in small talk, all in the voice of the replaced Carol Philips

'What a night.....and its May' said the woman in the uniform

'I will kill Jim when I get home, who the hell does not answer the phone nowadays'
The unwitting lady Doctor smiles 'Well, that's men for you, never around when you need them'
The bogus woman, with her stolen wedding ring replies 'Well thank God you came by Doctor, its a little unsettling to be stuck in the dark, especially on a night like this'
Doctor Shelby, her voice mature, a voice of the academic states 'It was lucky I recognized you, otherwise you would remained in a jam, I never give a ride to strangers, especially where we work'
The shapeshifter thought a lurid thought, Yes lucky for me you recognized this face, bit not for you.......maybe



'So' said the Doctor 'have you finished your shift'
The shapeshifter feigned a little embarrassment that was not really felt
'No, not really, I felt really sick, my stomach cramps are awful, menstrual....well, you know Doctor'
The dark haired older woman smiled 'Its Anne, by the way' she was concentrating on the road ahead 'and no, not for me anymore and I have no men to annoy me wither'
The shapeshifter picked up on that without showing it
'Sorry, I should have introduced myself.....its Carol, Carol Philips'

The shapeshifter attempts to be sympathetic 'Sorry to hear it Anne'
Doctor Shelby appeared to be amused by this, after all the Nurse was a younger woman, still enjoying the novelty of marriage 'What's to be sorry for, since the divorce there as been so much freedom' she smiled 'trust me'

The shapeshifter said nothing......it was thinking
The female was older but not without merits.......and she lived alone, was a professional and no doubt had funds that could be used
The shapeshifter had been watching her, the woman was not unattractive, she had looked after herself, her body and figure appeared desirable for her age
But the shapeshifter was unsure, as the woman's clothing was rather conservative in taste, and loose on her body
But with a successful transformation her attire would fit like a glove
It was unwise to morph so soon after the successful usurpation of the body of Carol Philips and her mind, there could be complications, it had happened before, a long time before when the shapeshifter had been a blend of two separate women
But it had no choice.....
The real Nurse could be discovered at any time and the alarm raised.....it may have happened already
The shapeshifter decided there and then........she would take a chance on Doctor Anne Shelby
She would steal her body, her voice and her mind.......
And if all went well she would steal her way of life for a while......
Just long enough for when events calmed down when they discovered that she had escaped.......

The shapeshifter was about to start her act.....
She had discovered over the centuries on how to play to the sensibilities of these human females......how they all cared for each other, most at laest.......it was their weakness......this sisterly bond
And the shapeshifter was about to play that hand



It began to wince and moan, clutching the shape of the stomach and loins of the body it had copied



It began to scream
Anne Shelby jumped a mile 'What's wrong'
It shouted back, clutching its stomach 'My gut is in agony......I'm going to vomit.......pull over'
Anne Shelby answered back, decisive 'Hang on......there is a layby coning up'



'Please quick' it implored
'Hang on Carol, nearly there' as the lady Doctor pulled over into a dark and secluded layby



Anne Shelby pulled over and parked
The Nurse was sobbing in pain......
Doctor Shelby was not a medical doctor in the true sense.......she was a psychiatrist, she was at an initial loss what to do
The look of concern on her face said iy all.....
She placed her arm over the shoulder of the woman she thought was Carol......who was not even a real woman



'Just breath Carol.....in and out' she offered
'It hurts so much' it pleaded



Anne Shelby was trying her best
The nurse groaned, she was shaking and then she wailed 'My God...I'm bleeding'
'Right...that's it......we are going back to the institute'

It was not going back to the institute
It wanted Anne Shelby......and her body
It grabbed the once caring and humane Doctor by the head......forcing her to look at it



The sudden aggressive manhandling caused the woman to scream in alarm.....realizing at last that she was in danger







Anne Shelby could literally feel her mind being invaded.......all her memories, her life being invaded
It was like an electric shock going through her body........





Then suddenly......her fear and thoughts were gone



Anne Shelby ceased her short scream.....and brief effort at resistance

It was done....initially at least
It had wiped the woman's mind....
It let go of Doctor Shelby.......







The woman was slumped in her seat....
The mind control had taken its toll on the shapeshifter too.......this one had been too soon after taking the Nurse
But needs must.......
