(author's technical note ) Another AIKa test by request, this one of the scene where Rion steals and changes into the Blue Delmo Catherine's uniform (in about 3 seconds, and of course it fits her). This was quite difficult because of two problems that occur a lot in AI art; the background was constantly being altered as I worked on the characters, and in this particular case, the LoRA used for Rion was nice and sharp, but the one for Catherine was blurry and more like it was trained on a VHS copy of the anime. This made for obvious inconsistencies, and required some trickery (using Rion's LoRA to generate most of Catherine's body), and quite a bit of manual drawing and recoloring. Still not quite as good as I would have liked it to be, but I think it came out OK.
In order to finally get a proper background, I needed to mask out the two characters in Photoshop, then load the mask in Krita, invert it, and generate the room. It still required fixing, but I think that's the only reliable way to do this. I'm going to be doing one more AIKa image to specifically test background creation from a 3D environment, because this will be a very important thing to be able to do for future pictures.
