Thanks again, my friend. I appreciate that. This was perhaps my favourite scene in the story( next to Nikki dropping in on poor Winona). There is something timeless about two unaware cuties, one suspects she's heard something while the other tries to calm her down. But to no avail as Laura is taken out first, leaving the panicked Emily all on her own, who froze, doing the stupid thing instead of the smart thing, allowing herself to be easy prey for the assassins. I'am really pleased with how it turned out.
Indeed, Emily should have sought cover and/or tried to call for help. But, alas, all she did was panic and make herself an easy target. As Green said: "Stupid little American bitches! They are too soft and should have been more attentive."
Also, I am curious about something. Green did make the comment "Well, if we can't kill them. We could at least...have fun with them." Since we didn't hear from Blue and Green until a bit later in the story, I am wondering if indeed Green did have a little fun with Laura and Emily.
Yeah, poor Emily was in a situation she could never had anticipated. She went to work with Laura that morning not expecting to be the target of a couple of ruthless assassins, who would later strip them and tie them up in the back of their own ambulance. Their lack of training coupled with their complanceny made them sitting ducks for Blue & Green, who ironically were taken out with ease by the MiB.
I can confirm that while Blue kept watch, she did indeed let Green have a little fun with our two unfortunate paramedics who were still asleep from the affects of the Tranqs, sometime after Ellana entered the hospital. After all, Black said not to kill them but didn't say anything about not taking advantage of them. And what the boss doesn't know won't hurt her.
